Founded by Dominique Legeai and Masato Suzuki of Lake Zurich's D & J Bistro, it's been in the hands of Legaei's daughter and son-in-law, Kendall College grads Lorraine and Christopher Barth, since 1997. Retro Bistro in Mount Prospect is recognized as one of Illinois’s best restaurants, and has won several local diners’ awards.
